Hey family, how are you? We hope you are all doing great.! 🙂 Sifu Larry and myself are camping with our families and friends in Assateague Maryland. We have been here since Tuesday and will be heading back home this Sunday.
We are a tad bit burnt despite applying copious amounts of sunscreen. No worries, it’s the natural kind! 😉
Thankfully I came prepared with aloe, shea butter and some other goodies to help accelerate healing as even with sunscreen the skin can only take so much sun in the uncovered elements!
We will be sharing pictures and memories with you in next week’s update.
This post is going to be a bit different as we decided to take the advice of a lot of our members, which has been the echo of, “You guys do a lot for us, take a break every once in awhile! You deserve it!”
So instead of new training, we are going to all review the past several weeks of updates and training. Sifu Larry and I talked about this a lot and realized by doing a once a month review it will help you and us!
It will give us some extra time to be able to get to some side projects we have in the wait for Enter Shaolin, like more videos on Social Media, more podcasts, more blog posts, more videos for Patreon… All which help more people find out about Enter Shaolin. The more we can do to get the word out and improve the site experience, the more we will be able to grow & improve Enter Shaolin.
All good things, right!?
And as a bonus, it will cause all of our awesome family members to really go back and slow down. Which we all need that reminder to go back and review what we’ve learned whether it’s Martial Arts or something else we are working towards mastering.
As the saying goes…
If you don’t use it, you lose it.”
Since we opened the doors in May 1st, 2014, there has only been 1 time that we did not issue new training in a week and that was due to technical issues we were having fixed on the site at that time.
So, this is a big change for us too! No worries though, because we will still be having weekly updates plus new training throughout the month. The only difference is now we will have one week each month to review the previous weeks to perfect our techniques and applications.
I hope all of our members enjoy this new format, as I know that it will help us all to improve upon our Kung Fu journey.
We want to give a big THANK YOU, for those members that recognize our hard work and effort that goes into bringing you Enter Shaolin and Ngo Dac Na. Thank you for reminding us, it’s okay to slow down and go back and review.
