Hello my beautiful family! How are you?
I hope to hear from you in the comments below as we do love to hear what you think and what is going on with you. 🙂
This week I got a new plugin to play with for our site. It is going to allow you to leave us video and voice messages.
There’s a lot that can be done with it, so I am playing around with some ideas on how to integrate it into the site.
One I will be doing for sure is making it active for Abbot members to send us their videos for critique. Right now they have to upload them to Google Drive, YouTube or another file sharing or video hosting site and then send us a link.
With this they will be able to click record and record for up 10 minutes whatever questions they have or do their form, etc. and have Sifu Phu critique it.
I’m pretty excited about that.
Another is we will be adding it to our testimonial page, so you can leave a video or audio testimonial. I haven’t talked it over with Sifu Larry yet, but I was also thinking about having a contest with it too. More details on that once I hash everything out with him. 😉
This week started my second week of running. I ran each day for the past 6 days. Sifu Larry is having me change it from 6 to 5 days. I am going to do bike riding weather permitting on the other days. I wish I could say that I am loving this running thing, however like I said last week this ADD is just not happy with this running thing. So I have to be persistent and keep telling that voice that tells me to give up, to shut up!
And if you have a voice telling you to give up on your training or discouraging you, tell it to shut up too! I know it sounds crazy, but you need to tell that negative voice trying to keep you down who is boss.
The good news is while I don’t like running, I am already seeing results like my legs toning up more. Not all exercising gets such quick results, but when it happens it’s always a bonus!
While running I’ve mostly been listening to motivational speeches, though the past two days I ran to music just to switch things up. I do encourage you whatever you are listening to or watching, make sure it is adding value to your life. Use your time on this Earth wisely brothers and sisters.
Speaking of adding value to your life…
Here is one of my favorites from the motivational section by Les Brown called ‘You Gotta Be Hungry‘, I know you will enjoy it!
Let me know if you listened or watched the above and what you got from it in the comments at the end of this page. 🙂
Now on to your training…
